Hi All,

I have a contacts management dilemma that I would be interested to get you input on.

My girlfriend and I both have an iPhone each and share a Mac. We each have Gmail accounts on our phones setup with activesync, (for email only). I have Mail on the Mac setup to get mail from both our accounts via IMAP. I have just updated the phones to IOS 5 and decided this would be a good time to sort out contacts synchronization, (something I’ve been meaning to get to for a while)!

Here is what I would like in an ideal world. Both our iPhones to sync with our own independent contacts. The Contacts.app on the Mac to sync both our contacts and ideally put them into two groups. Also if this could be setup in such a way so that if a contact was updated in one place it would sync with all relevant devices. As a nice extra it would be good if the web portion of Gmail could also be synced as we sometimes login via webmail.

The two tools I have to achieve this are iCloud and Gmail, or a combination of the two. I have thought of a couple of different workflows but not them complete the loop!

I look forward to your ideals!

Thanks
