Contacts missing from iPhone

Today I noticed contacts missing from my iPhone although they still remain in my contacts on my MBA. Both units are running the latest software. In the past, both of these contacts synced.

Wondering what I have to do to resync my contacts with these devices?

Any help would be appreciated.

I see the same contacts that are on my iphone and ipad. Lots of missing ones though...
