Hey, whenever I dial/receive a phone call from someone on my contact's list that person's picture appears as a wallpaper in the background. However, in all the "iPhone Walkthroughs" that Apple posts on their website, it shows that the picture can appear next to their name as a thumbnail image.

What I want to know is where can I change my settings so that I can have it with the thumbnail image rather than the wallpaper background. Thanks.:apple:

For me, i have an exchange email account. If i add a photo under their contact information in outlook they are displayed as a thumbnail. I don't know of a way to do it on the phone itself.

Yeah, I think that's it. I actually read through one of the stickies in this forum and it turns out that any contacts added on the iPhone will have the background wallpaper as the contact's picture. If a contact is added in Address Book (or with Outlook in your case) the picture will appear as a thumbnail.

Thanks for your response!
