I did a fresh install of Yosemite onto a new SSD a few weeks ago. (updated from Mavericks) When I went to transfer over everything from my backup drive it was apparently dead. No worries, I still had everything on the drive I had just removed. Everything came across fine except my contacts.
Is there a way to go in and get them copied over? I don't even know where to look.

BTW, Yosemite runs great on my Late-2008 13" Unibody MB. (OWC Mercury 3G SSD with 8 Gb Ram) Seems to be real solid and rapid.

Thanks

The way I did it was to start up from the old HD, launch Contacts select File>Export...>Contacts Archive...
Copy the new Contact archive file to the new SSD. Start up from the SSD, launch Contacts and File>Import... and select the Contacts archive file.
