I make extensive use of the Contacts feature of assigning a relation to a contact. They show in blue, really implying that they should be clickable to get to the related contact. But tapping does nothing. Is that a bug, or by design? Seems strange to allow me to associate them with another contact, but not allow me to tap through to get to the other. And of course I've already forgotten if this works in iOS 9 or not.

You added a nickname e.g. "Dad"? Don't see anywhere else marked "relation"
Nicknames are grey not blue. Siri will then recognise if you say "Call Dad" for example.
Edit- just seen when trying to make a new contact the relation field. Never used it, as I said nickname works fine to communicate with family members.
