One thing that intreagues me is whether or not your phones contact list will sync with the watch (whether local, iCloud, Google contacts or what not)?

This could solve that problem when your phone goes dead and you can't contact anyone. Because one could obtain numbers from the watch and then use a payphone/phonebox :)

What does everyone think? Likely or unlikely?

The Contacts could be pulled off the iPhone as needed to be viewed or used and not stored on the aWatch. This would be in line with the way 3ed party Apps will work (at least at first).

Also if they are stored on the aWatch they MUST be synced from the iPhone and not iCloud. The aWatch uses the iPhone as a gateway to the internet and has no access of it's own.

Where on earth do you live that has a payphone? I haven't seen in years that I can recall.
