anyone else experiencing this issue? MobileMe account set up on both mac running 10.7.2 and iPhone 4 with iOS 5. Calendar works fine but contacts (and bookmarks) will not sync.

Yes I'm seeing the same problem. For now I'm syncing with my computer instead. Hopefully it's just a glitch due to the MobileMe/iCloud transition.

This is a problem for me too. My contacts sync from my SL MacBook to MobileMe but they're not being pushed to my iOS 5 iPhone.

I should have known better than to upgrade right away.

Anyone with a solution?

Ditto.
It's on the ios side - changes on the Mac is being pushed up to mobileme but ios isn't getting or sending changes up.

Calendars are OK for me too, contacts is broken

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

I'm hoping it's a glitch as my calanders aren't syncing. Strange as if I log on to the web site the calanders and updates are there, but not on my iMac or iPhone.

So let's all go into an Apple store and ask for a replacement iPhone since our Contacts isn't syncing anymore with MobileMe...

I'm in the same boat. All my contacts initially transferred(thankfully), but I just added a contact to my iMac. It made it to the Mobile Me fine, but it's not being pushed to either iOS 5 device(iPad 2 or iPhone 4). Been over 2 hours and it's still not coming thru

I'm experiencing this exact situation as well. :(

I guess this would be a good time to try out iCloud to see if syncing works on that service.

I'm presuming we can just create a new iCloud account without migrating MobileMe and test it out?

If I don't need more than 5GB on iCloud, what would be the benefit of converting MobileMe to iCloud? I can then just keep MobileMe until it closes next year (as a backup of my backup).

my contacts disappeared as well. I just went into iTunes and checked the box to sync contacts and they all came right back. It gave me a message about not needing to but I told it I did and synced up. Now no problems.
