Contemplating switching to T-Mobile

And i want to bring my iPhone with me. I haven't been keeping up with the unlock technology to much. My 3GS was bought on launch day and was JB when available. Since then i have only updated when the tools to keep it jail broken were available. is it still possible to unlock my 3GS?

Modem Firmware is 04.26.08

Yes, get Ultrasn0w and it will unlock your phone.

You're good to go with that modem firmware.

Download ultrasn0w from cydia and you're all set.

Make sure to turn off 3g on your phone when using tmobile to avoid issues.

Unlocked. Going to tmoile tomorrow to try out the prepay service to make sure i like it. going to forward my calls to the new number for a week or so.

So i did it. Unlocked and got a flexpay T-Mobile account. Got got the Edge data working on t-mobile but not MMS. I see a bunch of T-MObile "apps" in Cydia but is there one that will let me quickly switch from T-MObile to ATT when i switch sims.
