There & Back Again
Hey guys, I work at a church and we want to get a couple of iPhones, one for me and one for my senior pastor. The only thing that is holding us back is the possibility of getting tempted to look at inappropriate material (yes you can all laugh at me now but it's important to me).

I was wondering if you had heard of anything out there that has been made yet to filter out certain content?

Kind of a random question I guess...

Jonny:

No one is going to rip you.

I have kids, and my daughter loves to use the iPhone. I like the iMac because I can do this there natively.... so it is not beyond belief that Apple may do something like that on the iPhone. I would be though they have a few higher priorities.

I would be interested in seeing this for 3rd party apps...

Filters are falible, too, remember. The best filter is the one above your shoulders!

So true - but sometimes the temptation can be overwhelming, know what I mean? We use Covenant Eyes on our computers at home and at work, on Mac and PC - and it's great. It's not a filter, but an accountability report that gets all your web activity sent to an accountability partner. It really keeps you on your toes!

Even something like that would be great.
