Continuity camera mount for MBP in a case?

Can anyone recommend a continuity camera mount that will work on a 16 inch MBP that has a case on it? All of the ones I’m seeing are really designed to go directly on the bare MBP lid and so the opening for the mount is only 0.19 inches -but, with a case on it, my MBP is is about 0.28 inches thick. Would prefer one that actually mounts over the top rather than one of those that attaches to the back by adhesive/suction cup. Thanks in advance

I have the Belkin one that Apple sells on their site (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/...3c8b2f42b98766a2849a95c807debc56c44407b9ed9e1). It works with my MPB 16 and Incase Dot case -- as long as I don't move the laptop around, the mount just kind of rests on the top lid.

Thanks. This is some thing I am considering – I have a small tripod and phone mount – but have not had a chance to try it yet. In your experience, since the angle of the legs on the tripod necessarily puts the phone a couple of inches back from the screen, as opposed to sitting the phone right on top of the screen, has that affected any viewing angles or functionality, etc.?
