Hi,

I just recently purchased IOGEAR GBU521 as recommended in the link below.

http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/get-continuity-handoff-airdrop-on-old-mac-3582632/

However, after plugging into the USB port, and using the latest Activation Tool,
the OS keeps rebooting automatically with a white error screen saying the computer has to restart.

My OS is currently 10.11.1, and as mentioned in the link it looked like as long as I use the Activation Tool it will work.

However, if possible I would like to use the Airport card and the adapter as per below.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L35XSMS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3O907TGH68703

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQAXDW8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2J520W5PGU5J2

Now, because I am not good in tearing computer apart and reinstalling parts, is it something like just plugging in and out PCI-e components? Or do I need to actually do some labor by soldering or removing or something?

If possible, is there an Youtube video or a step-by-step illustration on how I can install these if it's not hard?

Thanks in advance.
