Hi guys,

I recently had a 3G on an iPhone contract last year and recently switched to a BlackBerry in January as an upgrade.

I'm paying £30 for a free Curve 8900 and 600 mins and unlimited texts + free data.

Unfortunately I miss my iPhone so much now.

I am on a 24 month contract and I know this is going to be a hard one to get out of. I'm on O2.

Is there any any way that I can get out of the contract or move to an iPhone contract?

Also - if a new iPhone were to come out, do you think it would be a lot more pricier than the current 3GS? I don't want to spend £450 on a phone.

Thank you!

Also: I was thinking about this idea:

Buy the iPhone on Pay and Go
Transfer my contract to a simplicity £30 / 24 month iPhone tariff.

Would this work?
Thanks for your help.

To be honest, I would most likely think you are stuck. O2 write into their contracts that should you wish to break the contract early, you must pay every month off in full. So thats £30 x 24 (£720) for you, or a little less depending on how far into your contract you are in.

24 month contracts are bad news! I really urge everyone to avoid them, 18 is bad enough.

I guess you could just keep the contract, sell the BlackBerry and buy an unlocked/PAYG iPhone and see out your contract?
