Control a Mac Studio from a Macbook Air

I am going to get a Mac Studio and Monitor for a recording studio setup...my question is, is it possible to use my Macbook Air M1 to "remote control" the Mac Studio....there are times when I'll be at the back of the room (25-30 feet away from the Mac Studio/Monitor) and will need to control the Pro Tools session....my thought is that I could have a small rolling desk with my Macbook Air on it, so I can have a screen, mouse and keyboard controlling/viewing the Mac Studio from anywhere in the room. Will this be possible? Latency/lag? Maximum distance? Any other considerations? Thanks!

My Studio is in my radio shack and my MBA is in my office, I connect to it regularly using screen sharing. It works perfectly well.

Not that I notice but I've never done it while sitting in front of the Studio to watch it.
My only problem is seeing the contents of a 27" 5K display on my MBA.

So you can't adjust the ratio/or have it all fit on your screen when you're on the MBA? How do you deal with that?

Yes, you can have it either show the entire screen or zoomed in and then pan around manually.
I tend to have it showing the entire screen and use an app called Zoom It as a local magnifier.

I have two mini's on the subnet that don't have monitors. I generally just use the builtin screensharing when I need to do something on one of them (which is not that often). If it feels slow or laggy, it's worth checking out something like https://parsec.app/

I use that to connect from the studio to my gaming pc on the subnet. It also supports macos hosts (catalina and later), so I have it set up on the newer of the mini's. I'll generally use that over the native screensharing if I'm doing anything significant because it does feel faster.
