IPhone X. Control Center and Notification Center were both functioning as normal prior to update. Now neither work. If I go to landscape, it’s fine, but that obviously doesn’t work from the home screen. I reset the settings and it didn’t help. Made sure CC was enabled too. Thoughts, suggestions?

More digging has revealed it’s not just control center, it’s anything on the top of the screen. Any pull downs, or tap to scroll up, or switching back to another app. No idea why an iOS update would have killed this.

I rebooted, several times, hard reset and regular and reset settings as well. So, idk, maybe it’s just a one off issue.

Just an update. Turns out it was a bad display module. I guess it going bad at the same time as the update was just coincidence. I sent my iPhone X in to Apple for repair. It was covered under warranty as there’s a 3 yr extended replacement on all iPhone X display modules due to faulty components.
