Hey guys,

Does anyone notice a bunch of crazy lines on the right and left side of their screen if you slowly swipe the control center up from the bottom of your screen? I noticed it last night on my Mini 4, I have a dark background wallpaper for the lock screen and noticed when I pulled it up there were all these strange squiggly lines on both sides of my screen. If I slowly opened control center, while slowly opening it I could see the lines "dance" all over the right and left sides of the screen.

I then took out my iPhone and did the same test and sure enough, it's doing it there too. It seems to only happen with the control center gesture, can anyone else test out their devices and report back?

Thanks

I went to Best Buy today and tested out every iPad they have in the store on display and every single device did it, also every iPhone they have. You might not be looking hard enough, it's easier to see in a dark environment with a dark background on your screen. It only does it with the control center.

LOL if it’s that challenging to see and only does it for that particular animation I sure as heck am not going to bother trying to find it let alone obsess over it once I do see it.

LOL!!!

Well I use my devices in low lighting a lot, I work nights so it wasn't that hard to notice it lol It's def not a screen issue, it's related to the gesture for control center though for sure. I'm not "obsessing" over it, but these devices are expensive and I examine my toys when I buy them. I hadn't noticed it doing it on the iPhone because I've had that device for 3 years now and control center is relatively new, and for some reason I guess with the bigger screen on the iPad, it happen to catch my eye easier.
[doublepost=1530574204][/doublepost]But it's VERY easy to see this. Change your lockscreen wallpaper to the wallpaper of the globe with the dark background. Lock your phone then turn it back on but don't unlock, VERY SLOWLY activate the control center by slowly swiping up, you will notice a bunch of lines from top to bottom on both edges of the screen, dancing all over the place, I assure you it's happening on your device:)
[doublepost=1530574267][/doublepost]He'll I'll even do a screen record video of it and post it here if you don't believe me lol although I don't know if vids can be posted here.
