Control center toggles

Why did they change the way the toggles for WiFi & BT work? Why do they insist on making this so complicated?

I just want to be able to turn said radios on/off, not have them turn back on after a day or whatever.

The disconnect vs. disable change was made over year ago in iOS 11 (where it was discussed to a great extent).

Oh. I skipped iOS11...should have skipped iOS12 too

Agreed. It turns on again at midnight. My AirPods’ battery seems to drain prematurely and I have a theory they’re connecting to the phone while in the case.
