Does anyone have these 4 blank spaces in there control center? I can only get them to go away by unchecking the "show home screen controls". I like them being on though. Has anyone found out how else to get rid of them?

If you had four more HomeKit devices, they'd be occupied by those.

They're placeholders, but it is quite annoying that they exist.

I don’t think it’s a bug. They’re spaces reserved for homekit devices. It’s bad design that they don’t disappear if unused but it’s not a bug. I have 4 devices there, 2 Apple TV’s and 2 homepods so I just have 2 blank gaps in that row instead of an entire empty row.

I don’t have any gaps or any HomeKit stuff

Do you have the ‘show home controls’ option on in your control centre settings? It might default to off or not put the placeholder spaces in if you don’t have any HomeKit devices.
All my iOS devices are displaying it how OPs is so I’m fairly confident it’s not a bug.

That section isn’t just for other HomeKit devices. It also gets filled in with different scenes throughout the day.

My Control Center has icons for all of my Apple TV's, but what's the point? I touch them and nothing happens except maybe the Apple TV turns on. Big deal. I have a thermostat there that brings up a control to allow me to adjust. Nice. I have an icon for a power outlet switch that is connected to lights. It toggles power when I touch it. What is missing is icons for 2 HomeKit cameras I have. Would love to have buttons for those so I touch them and it shows me a live view of the camera.

The big Home Favorites button? That shows me the same icons as in the control center, and still no icons for my cameras, even though my cameras are enabled as Favorites. Is this a bug or are cameras being treated differently than other HomeKit devices?
