Control EyeTV with TV's remote?

Just wandering if it's possible to control EyeTV with the remote that came with my Samsung HDTV? It's programmable, but is it possible?

EDIT: Checked the manual, no apple on the list. Called Samsung and they say it won't work. Skeptical, but I cannot find any other info. Oh well...
