Is there a 3rd oarty app that lets you control at will the MBP's lighted keyborad. I would love to turn it on and control how bright I want it and not have to depend solely on the light sensor.

Great Find there Unorthodox!! I really hated the ever changing keyboard especially at note when I am trying to work in a dim lighted area!!

Yeah, I have found that at certain brightnesses, it makes the keyboard harder to read if you need to.
EDIT: Too bad you can't use the soft-keys to control the brightness with this utility.
