Controller Emulation on Sonoma

I like playing iPad games on my Mac with Apple's controller emulation so I can play games when I'm out and about with just my M1 MacBook Air keyboard and trackpad. Since trying out Sonoma though this feature just flat out doesn't work. I've tried it on multiple games and it just doesn't seem to register any input from my keyboard at all. It's definitely turned on in the settings for each game I've tried. Has anyone else found it not to be working? A shame as it's a really good feature that I'm glad they introduced and I used it quite a lot.

I have the same issue, I think is a Sonoma bug because in Ventura works fine.
