Hello All, I am thinking about purchasing an Apple TV in the near future. My problem is I have almost 4TB of movies in the .iso format. The reason they are in .iso is so I wouldn't lose the quality as they are at 100%. What can I do to keep the near quality when I convert to Apple TV? Thanks T

The .iso format is not a video file format, but an 1:1 copy (image) of a CD or DVD. I presume, you have copied your video DVDs via some software, that saves them as .iso. As you didn't mention what OS you use, I assume you use Mac OS X, thus double clicking the .iso file will mount the video DVD image and make it visible via Finder, which also allows you to use DVD Player (by Apple) and VLC Player to play the video DVD content.
Thus you can also use the following software to convert the video (stored inside .vob files inside the VIDEO_TS folder) via Handbrake and the Apple TV preset to an Apple TV compatible format.

thanks for your help. currently i am not an apple user (about a month off from my first iMac). Do the links you attached recommend the best settings as to not lose too much of the quality? I am at a point where i have too many HDDs and not enough physical space around the house.
The first one does not, but as I mentioned the Apple TV preset in Handbrake, you can use that.
MRoogle is a good tool to search these fora for already existing threads about questions you have. It might be able to answer you quicker than waiting for an answer.
