It looks like I've picked a good time to switch. For about eight years I've been using Eudora Light for Windows... I've resisted upgrading to Pro b/c I really like the way Light works, and it runs stable under Wine in Linux, so I've stuck with it.

Now, my mail provider is switching to secure POP3 at the end of September, so Eudora Light won't be able to connect anymore.

Since the end of September should coincide with my Powerbook's arrival, I am planning to switch my mail over to a Mac mail reader-- probably Mail.app.

Does anyone know of a free way to convert my mail over?

Thanks!

I would imagine that bringing your current database into Eudora Light for Mac OS X and then importing it into mail with the Import... menu item would work. There are a number of other formats available as well, as you can see from the attached window.
