converted 2009 Mini to 2xHD-can it use Air USB drive?

Soon I plan to put 2 drives into my late 2009 Mini by removing the DVD drive.

Just happen to wonder if anyone who has converted to 2 drives, from their stock Mini that came with one drive, has been able to use the Air USB drive, successfully on the converted Mini including being able to reboot from the Air Drive.

I know Apple says the Air drive can be used on the server models as a drive, and on the 24" display, but perhaps on the non-server models it won't work, especially after converting one.

Thanks, but I already own an Apple SuperDrive so hope, otherwise I'm screwed.

Try it before taking the SuperDrive out. There are little hacks you can do to make it work with any Mac but for some people it works without them
