I dont get this. I used the Xilisoft conversion to iPhone and it converted this DVD into the standard iPhone format. Now I play it on my computer and it plays and looks fine. Also played it directly through iTunes and looks normal, no issues.

I tranfer it to the iPhone through iTunes and below is what the entire video looks like. Ive deleted it and re-transfered it to iPhone 3 times and still the same, not sure what causes this since its fine before it gets to the iPhone. Anyone seen this?

After playing with it for a few hours I think I figured it out. In Xilisoft if you choose "Keep Aspect Ratio" on the ZOOM option, then you get the green bar on the right. If you change it to Letterbox, its normal then. I think the problem is that its attempting to keep this 16x9 DVD in the same 16x9 aspect ratio and the iPhone's 480x320 is not technically 16x9 widescreen. I think the downscaler on the iPhone got jacked up by the aspect ratio I sent it and produced this green bar on the right.

Yes, if you change the aspect ratio in Xilisoft, I mean do not choose Keep Aspect Ratio, the green disappear. I've tried.
