converting an AI file to JPG

What I have is some text I created to outlines, filled with colors and some black shapes around it. Nothing crazy...

I want to create a jpg of this. I went throu and exported it as a jpg, but what I really want to do is use that jpg in IMOVIE HD.....But I get an error, or the image comes in all messed up....



Can any one of you help?

Try opening it up in Preview and then saving it as a jpg... or, do you have illustrator? If so, you can export from illustrator as jpg.

Is the jpeg saved as CMYK or RGB? Remember print is CMYK, but TVs and internet work in RGB. So I movie might be trying to interpret a CMYK jpeg. Since most of the time Illustrator starts in CMYK mode.
