iPod Converting music files

I'm trying to take music on my iPod which is Windows formatted and sync it to or load the music on a Mac computer. I've tried to plug up my iPod to the Mac computer but of course it says that all of my music will be deleted. Please help!!!

You can only sync to one library at a time, so if you want to sync from a different computer, all your music will be deleted.
