hi all.
i have a psp as many of you do.i was wondering is there a free program to convert my video files so that i may watch videos on my psp.with windows i used pspvideo9 but i dont have a windows machine any more.thanks.

search google for "pspware"...free with a pop up every 15 minutes or register for 10 bucks, but is a great program, works wonders for encoding files to psp size. If you want a program that does it straight from the dvd try handbrake or handbrake lite, then to pspware. Look around, you'll find something

For the best looking and to have the most control over exactly how you want to encode the video go with ffmpegx it pretty much can convert any video type to any other video type. It also has a built in preset for encoding into psp friendly files. If you have firmware version 2.0 or up you can use h.264 is much better looking and more efficient then normal mpeg-4 but it takes longer to encode.
