Winter in the Catskills is most sensibly a season of hibernation (unless one likes to ski). I have probably popped into MacRumors six times in the past three months... but now that I've heard a few red-winged blackbirds make their buzzy calls, I know that spring is almost here, here I am, back like the proverbial bad penny.

(i dunno about those birds, they may have got it wrong this year, it's still only 12ºF on clear early mornings the past week or two)

Yah i liked that purple elephant scan too. But the ibook scan made me want to break into my old tangerine clamshell for a closer look!
