Just wondering, is there any cool hacks that can be done with SSH? Sorry to ask, im new to iPhones. Ive been a Windows Mobile guy and a S60 Nokia guy prior to that.

I remember a while back when i first got my Blackjack, we were able to change all sorts of things on the phone with a regedit program.

I know we can drag and drop apps and ringtones right?

I was trying to see if we can do that for music...however, im guessing no.

any tips or hacks for SSH would be great.

btw, im using OpenSSH and winSCP to connect.

well you can replace some of the image files and stuff via ssh, but Winterboard is much easier.

have been playing around with SMS tones...

anyone have access to a few loud SMS tones? i tried some from Cydia, but they do not seem to work.

Looking for a replacement for Tri-tone etc etc.

I'm with you here. Nothing worse then being in a group with a couple people with iphones and every time a text message comes through we all have to check our phones. I have yet to come across anything decent. Hopefully some others can chime in here. I've looked through zedge.com and have yet to come across anything loud, brief and somewhat professional sounding.

what are you guys using as your SMS tones?

I figured out how to hack it with SSH, kinda pissed that we cant just add a bunch, instead have to overwrite one you already have.

Where are you getting tones?

I tried using a windows WAV file, converted it to AIFF and then renamed it to a .caf file. However, it was SOOOOOO quiet, i couldnt even hear it.
