I am more of an Android nerd, Nexus guy or CM14.1 ROM's. But I always liked Jailbreaked iPhone's, and this video really shows off how cool an iPhone can be once Jailbroke;

It would be nice if Apple ever allowed some of these customizations to stock. My biggest gripe with the stock iPhone is how plane jane boring it is,. They need to allow at least some level of theming, and basic alterations.

Not just theming either; customization goes a long way in making a phone more functional, too. With customization, my phone is catered to me.

If what we want to believe is that every individual will have their own preferences and feature-use cases, then customization and choice must be something Apple adopts. Otherwise, it directly contradicts with the people who continue to spout "personal preference" as an important thing.

Jailbreaking has always been cool, but at the expense of stability, warranty, and updates (where you'll have to wait for the JB to be figured out again). Hopefully Apple starts adding more freedom to iOS in the coming years. As you've demonstrated here, plenty of good ideas and inspirations from the JB community.

I was planning on using my T-Mobile 'Jump on Demand' to grab an iPhone 7 Plus for zero down, and keep my same monthly payment, and play around with an Apple gadget for a while. Would still be keeping my Nexus 6P of course :)

But if there's no JB on the horizon at all now, I may have to pass. I could never deal with a plain stock iPhone.
