Hi folks,

My current setup is a 2008 aluminium Macbook with a Core 2 Duo processor, which means I am able to undervolt my cpu in order to reduce temps. This is done by a fairly old tool called Coolbook which requires a $10 licence. With help of tutorials on this forum I was able to get it working on Mavericks.

I was wondering if anyone has Coolbook running on Yosemite? If not, I will give it a shot and report here once Yosemite is officially released.

Hey there, I'm in the exact same boat. Been avoiding the yosemite update for that reason.

Please let me know if you got it to work after dropping mavericks!

Well... with numerous times reinstalling Yosemite and restoring TMbackups from Mavericks that crashed the system due to the TRIM enabler tweak, I am a bit reluctant to try Coolbook. It will mess with kext files and probably give me boot problems I'm afraid..
