Coolbook Question

Hey all,
This may seem like a silly question for some, but I was wondering,

I currently am using coolbook on my macbook air, and I have been able to set all the process speeds to 0.9V... now because they are like this... would it make a difference if the processor is running at 800MHZ or 1600MHZ even though they are at the same voltage... I'm asking in terms of power consumption (battery life) and Heat...

I'm asking because if there is no difference, isn't it best to just keep the processer clocked at 1600 the whole time....

No Idea... I was playing around yesterday just letting the computer sit idle without having any programs in the background, and all I would do was switch from 600MHZ to 1600MHZ... figuring that would be the biggest, most drastic change while keeping them both at 0.9v, and the temp only rose about 2C and then just hovered around there.... so I'm inclined to say it does affect heat.... but maybe battery life stays the same..

Although some other posts say that they've been taking out the 1600MHZ setting to save battery life... so I really don't know what the answer is.

Anyone out there who knows how this stuff works, cause I sure as hell don't!
