I can't make heads or tails of the Coolbook UI. Can anyone with a MBA Rev B list the settings necessary to prevent core shutdown with flash video? More generally, is Coolbook even necessary or should I install Flash 10.1 beta? Does it help battery life much?

I really would prefer not to mess around with hardware tweaks like this at all, I feel like Apple would have made these settings the default if they really helped that much. However the flash video situation is annoying so I'm willing to shell out $10 to try it.

The main reason that coolbook settings are not default, is because it turns out different for every single CPU. Apple sets CPU voltages to highly conservative settings. You'll have to experiment. And its is very much worth it.

Know that it can not damage you MBA, in worst case you get an OS crash. (In that case restart and change parameters)
I am using it for almost 2 years now on a REV A without any problems and lots of advantage.
Start conservative, and little by little decrease the voltages untill you have the impression your MBA gets unstable. Then you've gone to far and you can easily revert to higher voltages. The lowest voltages work fine with the lowest CPU frequencies.
