I run 2 instances of yes > /dev/null in the terminal windows and the coolbook temperature rises to 100 degrees celcius.
In istat pro its 105 degrees celcius for the cpu?
And of course its downclocking to 1200mhz :(

If i use the lowest voltage in coolbook the temperature will reach 92 degrees celcius, still really high...

Do other people also have this problem?
I'm only stressing the CPU, wonder what happens when i also stress the GPU :(

It seems the air is really not capable of this 'high-end' processor and gpu, i wonder if the rev2 of the air will be any better.

VERY curious to see if the air v2 reviews/tests indicate that apple has fixed the cooling and the core shutdown issues.

Is this the 1.6 or 1.8? I've got the 1.6 (week 10) and I can reach 90*C w/o Coolbook during heavy processing. Tested another 1.6 machine at an Apple Store yesterday (week 31) and it got up to 91*C. Just an FYI - doesn't sound like Coolbook is operating effectively (or at all) for you.
