This application lets you control your computer from your iPod Touch or iPhone! Here are some shots. The things on the bottom are the keyboard, mouse, and menu.

is this the first free one?

It's working quite well but not very easy to use... the mouse always goes all over the place!

Yes, this is the one that's been out since the start of the app store in July - Mocha VNC Lite, which I tried and deleted. Try Jaadu VNC (formerly Teleport) if you want a better experience, the mouse movement and clicking is very different and much easier to control where you click.

haha yeah for 15 quid you'd hope it's much better!

is the frame rate good enough to put a movie on on your mac/pc and watch it in Jaadu?

While the frame rate just might be high enough for video if you just zoomed in on a smaller window on the desktop of your Mac or PC, there would be no sound. The VNC protocol has been around for ages, and does not support audio transmission.

There was a sale on Jaadu at one point where he dropped it to $4.99 from $24.99 for one day. Keep an eye out and he may do it again for some extra exposure.

All I can say is I paid full price and it was well worth it at that cost. I had bought the full version of Mocha VNC prior to that, and felt ripped off :)

Well.... I like Jaadu more :D.

I absolutely agree.

Jaddu VNC just blows them all out of the water. I dropped the £14.99, and I've never looked back since.
At first, it's a bit tricky to set it up so that it works over 3G and Edge, but once you have, it excels.

I think my review speaks louder than anything I could ever say about it. It's the governor of VNC on the touch platform.
