Cooling pad with fan vs just stand

I have been trying to get a cooling pad for my macbook.
I searched the forum, it seems some of you guys uses icurve, ilap which doesnt have fan..

I want to get a cooling pad for home-use, since my room gets hot during the summer..
Right now, I uses 2 rubber, each on one side of the back to lift the laptop up..

So I think probably a cooling pad with fan works for me better.. since a stand just works like me putting 2 rubbers on the back..

Any good suggestion for cooling pad with fan?? Or I just go to dealnews and find the cheapest one..??
