Hello, im a design student and need CS5 Master collection for MAC but they are too expensive.
Does anyone know if the copies you can buy actually work? And how the serial numbers work?
Thankyou :D

I don't know what you mean by how one knows if the copies you can buy actually work...of course they do, that's what you've paid for. If you're a design student and need it, then you should factor it into your expenses and take out a bigger loan if need be. Also, check to see if you can get it for a discounted rate through your school. Finally, if you really don't want to buy it then use it on the school's computers.

Just don't pay for a copy that someone else pirated for free.

by 'copies' i meant buying a set that someone else has copied from their master copy to sell, i was wanting to know if these work?

Those won't activate if the serial has been blocked from Adobe (unless you modify your hosts file)

Be realistic. There are student discounts available for Adobe software, you just have a think about it and decide what you really need. I don't know anyone who actually uses all the programs in the Master Collection. Most people use some combination of three or four pieces of software.

Are you really going need OnLocation, Audition, Contribute etc. If not then don't waste your money, or your hard drive space. Use your discount to buy what you need.

No its just indesign, illustrator and photo shop i need, the full lot is a rip off really bug I don't know if there is a pack which does these, from what I've seen it works out cheaper to buy the full lot than separate things

The Design Premium package costs an extra $150, which is exactly the same price as Font Folio.

Thankyou :D I've seen this package loads just never looked at it Nd it's loads cheaper :D thanks everyone
