today, my wife told me that copilot had really bad reception.
she usually turned off wifi. I told her turn on wifi option when she will come to home today and see it will work or not. I recently had same problem then I thought maybe there might be some connection between software and wifi option in Iphone so I turned on Wifi option at Iphone setting. after I turned on Wifi option. a reception problem was gone.

am I missing something?
Does anyone have same experience? or Am I supposed to turn on wifi while I am using copilot?

Yes, gps reception has nothing to do with wifi. The reason it is bad sometimes has to do with numerous environmental factors

If you have a case, take it off and try that. Do you get a lock with Google Maps (a solid blue circle)?

I had loads of issues with my 3GS and co-pilot and it turned out my GPS was faulty. Apple just gave me a new phone and I now have no issues.
