Hi,
I can not copy/paste files between Finder and a Windows client that is connected through Microsoft’s remote desktop app v10.5.

I'm running MacOS version v11.0.1

I have verified on my Windows laptop that I can copy and paste files between the Remote Desktop PC and locally
I see in MacOS that the file from RDP is copied by looking in the Edit > Show clipboard:

1ee6783f-72b5-4dda-b521-05e9246746d7

If I try to paste in the Download folder in Finder, I get this error (its on Norwegian language):

fb7061c4-15d0-467b-a4e7-d53a912e0acd

Was this function working in earlier Macbooks?

I have been a Windows user since 1996 so the Macbook air M1 is my first (already have iphone, ipad and apple TV).

It is working on my Mac (M1), also Version 10.5.0 (1841)

Maybe the non-ASCII filename/pathname is making RDP unhappy?

Hi! Good point. I tried to copy a txt file on the RDP machine (test.txt) but I could not copy that either into Finder.
From the clipboard on MacOS:

It did not work either. My Macbook Air M1 is updated to MacOS 11.1

-43 is a file not found error, which means RDP does not copy the file you copied in the windows machine to maco's local temp.
do copy work in a reverse way? Like from Mac to windows.
I download RDP from the App Store, it is strange that it is not working.
