Copy Apps...How?

We have 2 iPhones and 2 computers (PC and Mac) in our house. On Computer "A" I purchased an app which was installed on iPhone "A". I want this app on iPhone "B" and computer "B" without having to buy the app again. I am keep being told I can do this but can't figure out how. I authorized both computers but when I did the transfer thing from iPhone "B" to Computer "A" it copied ALL the songs from the iPhone. It did not copy any apps. Plus I don't want to copy every song or app, just specific ones.

Did you try connecting the iPhone, right clicking and selecting "Transfer Purchases"? As long as it's authorized that should do the trick, or at least it did for me.

EDIT: By right-clicking, I mean right-clicking on the iPhone icon in the left-hand list of the iTunes window.

Yes and there is the thing, we have two separate iTunes accounts. One is on Computer "A" and one is on Computer "B". I authorized Computer "B" to Computer "A" and sync'd iPhone "B" to it. It downloaded every song it had to Computer "A", I was not able to pick what I wanted to download. It did NOT download the new apps from iPhone "B" to Computer "A".

I didn't think apps would transfer and certainly not on a selective basis, even if the computers are authorized. From the multi computer use I've experienced, the facility to sync apps to an iPhone is fairly restricted due to the DRM. I've found that while I can copy music from one to the other on a selective basis, this mucks up the sync logic on the phone (I got caught out the first time and wiped all my apps, and app settings etc) off the phone when I next tried to sync with the original computer.

It seems apps are quite locked down, but happy to be proved otherwise. NB you probably could do this if the phone was JB. I was talking from a legit perspective.

If both computers are authorized using the same iTubes account you can copy the .ipa files from one computer to and drag and drop them into iTunes and they will be available on the new computer under the same account.

I have downloaded apps in iTunes from my laptop and then copied them using a usb memory stick to my desktop. I just copied them into iTunes on the desktop and they were available to sync with my iPhone.

I tried because I store all my media on my desktop computer and but I was using my laptop when a promo code was offered. I used the promo code on the laptop and then later when I got home I copied the files to the deskstop computer and imported them into the iTunes their - worked great.
