Copy image address then pasting into messages doesnt work for iphones users (Bug??)

if u open this link in safari, then right click "copy image address"

paste it into messages, and send it to an iphone user

the iphone user gets "attachment.php" that is just text

on the messages side in ML it says "attachment.php" but it an actual link.

if i paste it into messages for an AIM user, the user gets "attachment.php" but its an actual link to the URL at the top of this post.


This also happens with other types of images where i just get the filename.jpg instead of the full url

can anyone else duplicate this? anyone know of a work around fix?

I would expect any different if you're copying and pasting the image "address".

wouldnt the image address be the complete URL of the image and not just the NAMEofimage.jpg?
