Hi there,

Since I upgraded my iMac to DP7, I can't copy-paste files. The finder crashes and restarts, and the portion of the file copied is date to 1984… strange…
Can anyone help me please?
This issue is valid when copying within my HD and from and to USB3 external HDs.

Cheers

Benji

Same issue here. The problem has also now been reported on the dev forums. I'm using Pathfinder in the interim until its fixed.

Since Mountain Lion, all copied files have a date of Jan 1984 until the copy is complete. This is an easter-egg because Apple unveiled the first Mac in Jan 1984.

That's nice, but the thing is, the copy doesn't end :)

I know but I was just letting the OP know about the 1984 thing. It alarmed me at first when I saw it because I thought my system hiccupped.
