Copy/pasting between iPhone/Macbook doesn't work after iOS18

Hi everyone,

After I updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS18, the copy/paste function between my iPhone and my Macbook Pro has stopped working. On the rare occasion of it not working in the past, I would always just reboot both devices and then I'd be back in business.

But this time around rebooting doesn't work. Any tips for how I can fix it? It's a feature that I use almost daily so I hope I can get it back.

Check you settings on both devices. Make sure they are correct per these instructions.

Same here. I use the latest all on my devices and not only clipboard but also everything else is broken. for example: when I am in a class I used to open DNR from my iPad and my iPhone also switches it, but now I have to open DNR for each device I have with me in class. also when I open DND "until I leave this location" it used to work but not anymore. icloud tabs have also disappeared and lots of things like these.

I'm really upset about these new updates. if it's not ready, don't release it. they could postpone the release date of the new version until it's ready. there are really big problems and Apple doesn't pay me to test their product, it's a real shame.

mmm, no problem here with Universal Clipboard using a 15Pro on 18.0.1 and MacBook Air on Sequoia 15.0.1...

Having the same problem, copy-paste between macbook and iphone stopped working after upgrade from ios 17 to 18.
