Hi,

I have MacOS Sierra 10.12.4. I want to copy a slide from a .key presentation to another .key file as a new slide. It does get copied but not as a new slide but an image from clipboard. Earlier versions of Mac OS doesn't have this problem. Could someone please let me how to do this copy of slide?

thanks
Regards,
sushil

Have you tried dragging the slide from the thumbnail sidebar from one document to the other?

Hi,

Yes I tried that too and it didn't work. The drag go back to its original place in the .key file. Does it work for you?

Thanks

I just did this yesterday using 10.12.4 and Keynote 7.1.1 without any problem. I have no idea why it isn't working for you but it's not a problem that affects everyone.

I'm sorry to say that the problem is apparently with your particular installation, as none of the Macs I manage have this particular issue.

One more thing to check... do you use a "Clipboard Manager" app of any kind? If you do, try quitting the clipboard manager and see if that solves the problem. If it does, then add Keynote to the list of apps the clipboard manager ignores (if it offers the ability).
