as soon as yo do it make sure to sync it up.. and if you want to take music from mates, family etc., don't re-sync with their itunes library or computer - just copy the music (physical mp3 or whatever files) onto iPod as a flashdrive.. and then copy them onto YOUR OWN HOME COMPUTER, import into itunes, then sync with iPod...
