Hi, it's been a long time since I've been on here and need to ask a question. Is there any way to make a copy off of youtube and put it on a dvd? I know a few years back there was a way to copy things for personnel use but forget how. getting old. thanks

1. Use a downloader to get the video off YouTube. I use this one:

2. I take it you want to play the dvd in a DVD Machine? If you still have iDVD, start a new Project and just drop the downloaded video onto the Project window.
If you don't have iDVD, download the free Burn:
burn-osx.sourceforge.io
Open Burn and choose "Video" from along the top of the window and "DVD Video" from the drop down list. Drop the video file onto the window. When asked if you want to convert to mpeg, click yes.
Click on "Burn" when ready.
