"Copy to Play Order" iTunes

I just noticed this option when CMD-Clicking on a track in a playlist, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it does.

Anybody want to enlighten me?

nothing happens when i command+click any track or anything else. the only thing it does is what it is supposed to, allow you to select multiple items not in succession.

Glossybear meant control-clicking. I tried it but don't know what it did.
