I copied a disk using Toast 10. After the disk was copied onto the new CD-r a message dropped down and said eject or mount. Can someone explain "Mount"

"Mounting" an topical or mechanical or flash disk drive is the process of having access to the connected or inserted media via the operating system and its component.
When you mount a drive or disk, you will see a little CD/DVD or HDD icon on the left in your Finder's Sidebar to browse the contents of that disk.

as seen in Disk Utility

After copying the disk, on the right side it shows the untitled disk then underneath it shows a smaller disk. As you can probably see I am new to the Mac

If you're new, go here for some introductory videos and other tutorials.

made bigger as many seem to ignore such links

On the right side you should see your Macintosh HD and whatever drive (flash, HDD,...) is connected or CD/DVD inserted.
As you seemed to not have titled your DVD it shows as "Untitled" on your Desktop and in Finder's Sidebar.
