Ok, I just bought an LG DVD recorder. My son is on a local TV show and my goal was to tape the show, edit in imovie, and then copy to another DVD or you tube. Well, I recorded the DVD just fine on the TV. It plays just how it was taped. However when I insert the DVD into my Mac (OS X 10.6.7) it won't play...I can see that there is "data" on the dvd but I can't access it. Can anyone please help me? Oh, I was using a regular DVD+4 16x DVD to record.

Did you finalize the disk? The devices that record to DVD leave the disk "open" and they need to be "finalized" for other devices. The dvd recorder will play back from unfinalized disks, but not computers.

How do I finalize a DVD?

I download handbrake and inserted the DVD - Under source it says "no valid source found"
