So i copied all my itunes music and photos to my iPhone. Can I hook it to my MBA which is coming soon and transfer everything over. including purchased music?

reason being is I sold my MB and I don't have an external drive.

When connecting a new iPod to iTunes for the first time, I don't think you can sync from iPod (iPhone) back to iTunes. This is a generic problem that applies to all macs, not just the MBA.

However, there are 3rd party shareware that allows you to "extract" mp3 files from an iPod (without using iTunes). Many of these work under Windows, but you might still be able to find some that works in Macs.

That's funny because as soon as I plug my iPhone in, iPhoto starts right up to allow transfers. I had the iPhone for quite a while before I purchase my Macs (I ran iTunes on my PC). All of my iTunes music and video purchases synced from my iPhone to my MP with no problems.

What your talking about is when you have pictures that you took with your iPhone.

I plugged my iPhone into the MBA this morning, and iPhoto opened, but it only transferred photos that were taken with the iPhone and not photos, that I had stored from my old computer.

I got all my Music over, still trying to figure out Photos.
